Neukölln is stuffed with Kumpir cafes, but they are fewer and further between across the river in Friedrichshain, so Patta is a rare treat, serving up gigantic loaded spuds straight from the potato oven – the ultimate delicious cheap eat.

Choose a baked potato and you’ll see it mashed with butter and cheese before you choose from the vast selection of fillings ranging from simple sweetcorn to saffron, jalapeños and spinach pesto. The combinations at Patta are endless and you better be hungry because the stuffing doesn’t stop until the potato can take no more!

€5 food: One potato will set you back the full five euros, but you won’t be left hungry!

€5 ‘fullness’: You’ll be as stuffed as your spud

€5 change: None, and you’ll need an extra euro for a couple of the gourmet toppings
