A Parisian once told us the fresh croissants at Croissanterie are better than in France. And we’re taking that as gospel. The colourful little all-butter cafe is tucked amongst the tens of eateries on Neukolln’s Pannierstraße and doesn’t look like much from the outside. But naturally, it’s what’s inside that counts.
It’s easy to get swept away by the piles of sweet-filled, buttery delights on display as you enter Croissanterie, but take the time to peer up at the blackboard menus. There are an array of savoury croissants on offer, which are cheap yet filling and full of goodness such as brie or gorgonzola with salad. Sick of sandwiches? Maybe it’s time to switch up to a croissant!
